NEST OF LIGHT

A design proposal for the interior of a private house, shaped by the desire to connect inside and outside, frame views, and create a calm atmosphere through a natural material palette.

The large living space on the ground floor is divided into several distinct areas by a wooden lattice library. Rather than functioning only as storage, the library acts as a spatial separator, creating a collection of lounges and multiple seating arrangements.

This allows different activities to take place simultaneously on the same floor without interfering with one another. Large glass panels form a façade that is not only seen, but seen through, strengthening the connection between the interior and the landscape beyond.

In the bedroom, oak panels wrap around two sides of the space, adding warmth and continuity. They provide the backdrop for a wall-mounted corten steel desk and shelving, while also concealing the entrance door, bathroom door, and wardrobes.

הצעה לעיצוב פנים של בית פרטי, שנוצרה מתוך הרצון לחבר בין הפנים לחוץ, למסגר מבטים אל הנוף וליצור אווירה רגועה באמצעות פלטת חומרים טבעית.

חלל המגורים הגדול בקומת הקרקע מחולק לכמה אזורים מובחנים באמצעות ספריית סריג מעץ. מעבר לתפקידה כמקום אחסון, הספרייה משמשת גם כמחיצה מרחבית, היוצרת רצף של אזורי ישיבה ומאפשרת מגוון סידורי אירוח.

חלוקה זו מאפשרת לקיים פעילויות שונות בו זמנית באותה קומה, מבלי שיפריעו זו לזו. לוחות זכוכית גדולים יוצרים חזית שלא רק מביטים בה, אלא גם דרכה, ובכך מחזקים את הקשר בין חלל הפנים לבין הנוף שמחוץ לבית.

בחדר השינה, חיפויי עץ אלון עוטפים שניים מצדי החלל ומוסיפים תחושה של חמימות והמשכיות. הם משמשים כרקע לשולחן עבודה ולמדפים מפלדת קורטן, התלויים על הקיר, ובמקביל מסתירים את דלת הכניסה, את דלת חדר הרחצה ואת ארונות הבגדים.
