From brass to white

High above the city, at the point where the building meets the sky, architecture follows a different set of rules.

The apartment extends across three floors and includes furniture, terraces, and a pool, but its defining element is light. A different kind of light. At the edge of the building, sunlight enters directly, without mediation and almost without shadow. Apartment and sky seem to dissolve into one another.

This intense light becomes even more powerful at sunrise and sunset, as well as during the brief moments before and after them, when the entire interior begins to glow. The effect is created not only by the changing colors of the sky, but also by their reflection across the metal surfaces within the apartment.

Brass sheets wrap walls and architectural elements throughout the space. They absorb the sunlight, break it apart, soften it, and transform it into shades of gold, bronze, and rust before reflecting it back into the interior.

These are the hours when the magic takes place, when the apartment and the sun complete one another.

גבוה מעל העיר, במקום שבו הבניין פוגש את השמיים, האדריכלות פועלת לפי כללים אחרים.

הדירה משתרעת על פני שלוש קומות וכוללת מרפסות ובריכה, אך האלמנט המרכזי בה הוא האור. בקצה המבנה הוא חודר ישירות, כמעט ללא תיווך, ומטשטש את הגבול בין הדירה לשמיים.

לוחות פליז עוטפים קירות ואלמנטים אדריכליים, סופגים את אור השמש, מרככים אותו ומחזירים אותו אל החלל בגוונים של זהב, ברונזה וחלודה. בשעות הזריחה והשקיעה, הדירה כולה מתחילה לזהור, והאור והחומר משלימים זה את זה.
