GRAVITY

A random afternoon, A 3 year old child, his father, on the carpet. Playing with wood bricks. The kid lays the red brick at the cliff of the yellow brick. His father laughs saying "sweetheart, it won't hold. Look, it's very unstable". The kid smiles at his father and let go of the bricks. The red brick immediately falls. The father smiles at his kid "come. I'll show you how to make it stable".

Another random afternoon, some dozens year old child, an office, bricks. The child sets the white brick on the cliff of the other. The father is not present. So is the carpet missing. Gravity though, has not been conquered yet.

The grown kid knows that after all these years, this time he is prepared. He can make it happen. He can set the upper brick on the cliff of the lower one. And he can make sure it stays there. Solid. Steady.

Metaphoricaly we could say a circle has been closed. But we are all about bricks.
