IN THE WOODS
When the plot borders a forest, we had to treat the woods as part of the house and vice versa.
So we designed a house with simple and clean lines, that doesn’t compete with all the green surrounding it, and allows for maximum vistas to the landscape around the house.
The transparent ground floor is obscured from the street while still allowing views to the forrest from all other facades. So from the moment you open the front door, those views surround and embrace you around the house. From the front door to the bedroom, you are living with nature.
